Trips and Educational Tours are also organized. Travel is one of the most effective means of learning. The value of the written word is endorsed by the actual images and hence gets indelibly imprinted in the mind. In pursuance of this methodology children are also initiated to coping with life skills by being taken to various camps. The process is initiated from Grade 1 in the school. The wide range of excursional experiences is really to enable the child to relate with the same passion to the folk and folklore. They give the children an insight into the vastness of our land, of its variety and diversity and above all, its unity.
 
• Pourri of Ideas

Reuse helps save time, money, energy, and resources. In this context ‘Best Out Of Waste’ competition was held on 23rd July 2011 in Ashoka Universal School, Wadala for the Grades III-V.

It was a pleasure to see the ting creative minds bubbling with joy and excitement. The students reused a variety of waste material which we could never imagine and colored it. This competition was aimed at educating and engaging the students in resource conservation and environmental protection. The best creation was declared winner of the competition. They were judged under the criteria of creativity range of waste material utilized, theme and final outcome.
